Stanford started a beach volleyball program in 2013, but long before that, one of the best beach volleyball players of all times called The Farm her home.

Today, Stanford dedicated it’s beach volleyball facility after that athlete, five-time Olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings, who was a four-time All-American and a two-time national champion in her time as a member of the Cardinal team.

“I’m so grateful and so humbled to be here,” she said at the dedication ceremony. “In all the campuses in all of the world to have a court named after me I wouldn’t pick any other place. Stanford is home.”

The ceremony took place before Stanford beach volleyball’s dual with Cal. The Cardinal won the matchup 3-2.
