USA Basketball Stars Have Caught the Beach Volleyball Bug
USA Basketball stars were on hand to watch April and Kerri win their quarterfinal match and were later seen starting up a beach volleyball match of their own on the sand.

USA Basketball stars DeAndre Jordan, Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, DeMar DeRozan, Kevin Durant, Paul George, DeMarcus Cousins, and Draymond Green must have really had a blast at the beach volleyball stadium on Sunday night. After watching Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross take down Australians Louise Bawden and Taliqua Clancy in the quarterfinals of the Olympics beach volleyball competition, the basketball players were seen on the beach in Rio testing their own skills out in the sand.

Although this spontaneous volleyball match drew a large crowd, from the looks of it, these NBA stars realized beach volleyball is nowhere as easy as Kerri and April make it seem, but with any luck they will continue to their fellow USA competitors, especially as we approach the medal rounds.
"What I really love about the Olympics is the way we are all part of Team USA and all support each other," Ross said.
"Those to me are the best athletes in the world, basketball players," Walsh Jennings said. "They play at a high level and every time I caught a glimpse they seemed so in to it and when we won they seemed so proud."
