The top nine hold steady in the DIII volleyball rankings, each team eager to prove the preseason poll right for backing them. Week 1 of the AVCA coaches poll saw little movement at the very top, but the lower ranks experienced some shakeups. 

Illinois Wesleyan climbed from 19 to 16, while previously unranked teams Berry and Otterbein earned their spots on the board.

Juniata continues to reign supreme with no signs of slowing down. The Eagles celebrated 100 consecutive wins on Aug. 30, a hefty milestone for the team and a bode of confidence for the program as a whole. The doubleheader win against Courtland and UMass Boston brought them to the grand total. The streak began Sept. 17, 2022 with a win against La Verne, meaning 1,078 days have passed without a loss. 

But the chase for a championship is far from over. Wisconsin-Whitewater comes loaded and ready to challenge, earning eight first-place votes in the process. The season is just getting started, and it promises to be a thrilling battle at the top.
