Chiaka Ogbogu Leads Texas To Crucial Win Over Kansas

Ogbogu's Hitting Key In Texas Victory

In the first set of Texas' Wednesday night battle with Kansas, senior middle blocker Chiaka Ogbogu hit over .700, setting an aggressive tone for the match versus the Longhorns' conference rival.

Ogbogu remained Texas freshman setter Ashley Shook's go-to hitter for the remainder of the match, which Texas won 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-16), and the senior middle blocker finished the night with a season-high-tying 14 kills at a .545 clip.

With the win, Texas earned at least a share of the Big 12 conference championship, no matter what happens in their remaining pair of matches in the regular season.

In this video, FloVolleyball's Katie and Megan break down the match, and catch up with Ogbogu to hear her thoughts on the Longhorns' performance.
