Ebony Nwanebu Returns After Injury as a Leader for Texas

Texas opposite Ebony Nwanebu was sidelined with a back injury after playing only one match as a Longhorn. The 2014 Freshman of the Year transferred to Texas from USC, played one of the best matches of her career versus Nebraska to open the 2015 season, and then sat out the remainder of the season.

In this interview, Nwanebu talks about what it was like to watch from the bench as Texas roared all the way to the national championship match. She also touches on the loss of Chiaka Ogbogu on the 2016 team due to academic ineligibility.
