Sara Hughes and Kelly Claes Upset No. 1 Team in Klagenfurt

University of Southern California senior Kelly Claes and Sara Hughes earned a wildcard berth into the Klagenfurt Major in Austria, and immediately starting proving their right to be there, defeating the No. 1 seeds Laura Ludwig and Kira Walkenhorst of Germany. They followed that up with a victory over Rio-bound Canadians Jamie Broder and Kristina Valjas.
