Meet Kelly Reeves, Professional Beach Volleyball Player
Kelly Reeves played one season of beach volleyball at UCLA after completing her indoor career, which included All-American honors and an NCAA national championship. She then began training with the U.S. indoor national team, but she didn't make the cut to be considered for the 2016 Olympic team. At that point, Reeves began thinking about the beach again.
Since going pro full time on the AVP, NORCECA, and the FIVB beach volleyball tours, Reeves has won five NORCECA medals and claimed three fifth-place finishes on the AVP. She opened the 2017 season at the FIVB Fort Lauderdale Five Star, where she finished 17th with Kelly Claes. At the AVP Huntington Beach Open, she played with Jen Fopma, placing fifth.
