Sander: "Every Time We'd Get A Run, They'd Shut It Down"

BYU outside hitter Brenden Sander led his team with 15 kills in the Cougars' semifinal sweep of Hawaii, but in the 2017 national championship match versus Ohio State things didn't turn out so well. "Every time we'd get on a run, they'd shut it down," the junior from Huntington Beach said. "And that's what you've got to do against good teams. You have to limit their runs, and they were better at doing that tonight."
