Hawaii Senior Nikki Taylor Appreciating The Efforts Of Her Teammates

Hawaii's Nicki Taylor and her partner Ka’iwi Schucht lost their match against Florida State on the second day of the NCAA beach volleyball tournament, but thanks to some gritty play by her Rainbow Wahine teammates, the Hawaii squad moves on to day three.

"To get to go over and really change my mentality and to cheer for them allowed me to rethink being disappointed about my match and be better at being a teammate, cheering them on and giving them encouragement any way I could," Taylor said. "It's a really great feeling when your teammates can pull it out for you."
