The second-ranked United States Women's National Team has set its roster for the team's inaugural FIVB Volleyball Nations League, May 15-17, in Lincoln, NE.

The group is headlined by all seven active Olympians from the 2016 Rio Games—including Hooper, Nebraska-native and former Husker Jordan Larson, who has been named team captain.

“It is awesome playing close to home in Lincoln,” said Larson, who grew up about 45 minutes from Lincoln. “We had the 2016 Olympic Qualifier (in Lincoln), and it was such a great atmosphere. We are excited to come back and get another opportunity to play in front of the Husker fans.”

In addition to Larson, the team will feature Olympians Kim Hill and Kelsey Robinson, along with Michelle Bartsch-Hackley at outside hitter.

Two-time Olympic medalist Foluke Akinradewo and 2016 Olympian Rachael Adams will share the middle with Lauren Gibbemeyer and Tori Dixon. Olympian Kelly Murphy and Annie Drews will be at opposite hitter.

2017 USA Volleyball Female Indoor Player of the Year Carli Lloyd is joined by Micha Hancock at setter. Amanda Benson and Nebraska alum Justine Wong-Orantes are the liberos.

The U.S. will meet No. 22 Poland on May 15, No. 12 Turkey on May 16, and seventh-ranked Italy on May 17. All three USA matches are scheduled for 7 PM (CT).
