Players To Watch At 2017 ADIDAS Windy City National Qualifier
The ADIDAS Windy City Qualifier is bringing some of the nation's top club volleyball teams to Chicago this weekend.

FloVolleyball will be live-streaming courts 27 and 28 on Friday, April 14, to Sunday, April 16. Tuning in? Make sure to keep an eye on these top-notch players.

Rachel Hickman, OPP, Dynasty 16 Black


Six-foot-three opposite Rachel Hickman made her verbal commitment to Kansas this past fall. Hickman played a big role on her Lawrence (KS) Free State High School team and is doing the same this spring for Dynasty 16 Black.

Aimee Adams, 6-1, MB, IPVA 17 Black


A 2019 recruit, Aimee Adams plays up on IPVA's 17 Black team. The 6-1 lefty middle can play all the way around and hits from all three front-row positions.

Nancy Kane, 5-11, S, Michio Chicago 16 National


Nancy Kane set national No. 1 Mother McAuley to an Illinois 4A state title in the fall and was the only sophomore to receive first-team all-state honors.

Bree Thompson, OH, Six Pack 16


Bree Thompson played a huge role in Janesville High School's Iowa 1A state title, leading the tournament in kills and aces, and she's only a sophomore.

Gracie Van Driel, MB, ICT Mavs 17 Blue


Kansas recruit Gracie Van Driel is a 6-2 sophomore middle blocker playing up on ICT Mavs' 17 Blue squad. Van Driel is also a member of the Rose Hill High School track team.

Riley Wagoner, OH, Mintonette m.61


Outside hitter Riley Wagoner and her Mintonette m.61 squad won the Mideast Qualifier last month. In the fall, Wagoner earned first-team All-Ohio after a fantastic season with her Coffman High School team--the only sophomore to make the first team.

Brooklyn Cink, 5-10, OH, Dynasty 16 Black


Touching over 10 feet, 5-10 outside hitter Brooklyn Cink can navigate around blockers much taller than her. This fall, she earned all-tournament honors in the Kansas Class 6A state tourney.



Charlotte Cronister, L, Michio Chicago 16 National


A speedy defensive player with good court awareness, Charlotte Cronister is everywhere on defense for Michio Chicago 16 National.



Jessica Robinson, MB, Legacy 16 Elite


A 6-1 middle for Legacy 16 Elite, Jessica Robinson made her verbal commitment to Michigan last fall.

Mia Christensen, L/DS, Tstreet 16 Mike


Class of 2020 libero Mia Christensen is the defensive glue that holds Tstreet 16 Mike together. The Washington State commit and her squad finished sixth at the Triple Crown Sports National Invitational earlier this year.



Machaela Podraza, S/OPP, Mintonette m.61


A team is only as good as their setter, and No. 3-ranked Mintonette m.61 has a great one in 6-1 Maryland commit Machaela Podraza.

Erin O'Leary, S, Legacy 17 Elite


A member of the U.S. youth national team, Erin O'Leary was named the Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year after leading her Novi High School Team to a Class A state title. Her Legacy 17 Elite squad ranks in the top 10 of the Flo50.

Elise Austin, MB, Sunshine 17-1


A 6-2 middle who makes her presence known at the net, Sunshine 17-1's Elise Austin recently committed to the University of San Diego.

Charley Niego, OH, MichioChicago 17 National


Notre Dame recruit Charley Niego also played for Illinois state champ Mother McAuley. Standing 6-foot, the junior outside hitter was named Illinois' Gatorade Player of the Year in January.
