Nebraska Roars To Fifth National-Championship Victory

There was a palpable feeling of deja vu inside the Sprint Center. Just two years ago, in Omaha in front of a record crowd dressed in red, Nebraska won a national championship, and this year, three hours away in Kansas City, the Huskers once again ended the season with confetti raining down on the heads and thousands of Big Red faithful in the stands.

Camryn Tastad is a thorn in the side of opposing teams’ hitters. The 5-foot-3 libero from Santa Fe Christian High School in Solana Beach, California, racked up 479 digs in her senior season, and in her career she’s tallied more than 1,000 saves — a feat she’ll seek to repeat in college at the University of Oregon.

Raegan Steiner Is The Perfect Ambassador For Montana Volleyball

Yes, they play volleyball in Montana.

No, they don’t ride horses to volleyball practice.

In fact, Raegan Steiner would like you to know that high school volleyball is very much alive and kicking in a state better known for rodeo, skiing and — until recently — basketball. Steiner should know: the 6-foot-0 opposite from Billings Senior High is the first Montanan ever selected to the AVCA Under Armor High School All-American team.
