You've all been there. You're watching a movie, and all of a sudden, the high school protagonist enters the gym for volleyball day. Or the plot takes the characters out to the beach, and they're suddenly striking up a friendly game of jungle ball. You groan, you laugh, you make fun. Yeah, Hollywood still hasn't figured out how to do our sport justice, but it's always hilarious to see them try.

Here are some of our favorite, and most cringe-worthy, volleyball movie scenes.

It's all fun and games until somebody gets a bloody nose in this scene from "Meet the Parents":
