The 2025 AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II Women’s Volleyball Preseason Poll sets the stage for an exhilarating season, spotlighting a blend of seasoned champions and formidable challengers. 

At the forefront, Lynn University, the defending national champions, received 1,171 points and 45 first place votes. The Fighting Nights went 33-3 overall and had their fifth consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament last year. They aim to defend their title and continue their dominance in the league.

Close behind, Angelo State University stands poised for another strong 32-3 record in 2024. The Rams gained one of the two first place votes not given to Lynn. St. Cloud State University has garnered attention with their highest preseason ranking in program history. Building on their previous successes, they are determined to make a significant impact this season. 

Other notable teams in the poll include MSU Denver, Central Oklahoma, and West Texas A&M, each bringing unique strengths and aspirations to the season. As the season unfolds, these teams are set to deliver thrilling matches and showcase the depth of talent in Division II women's volleyball.
