FloFC is broadcasting college soccer matches from NCAA Divisions I, II and III all season long, with each week bringing a new, exciting slate of matchups to check out from its partner conferences.

Here’s a look ahead at the games to watch for the week ahead in the BIG EAST, CAA, GLIAC, SAC and Landmark Conference:

Vermont Vs. Akron

A massive new addition to the BIG EAST soccer sphere, the Zips—six-time College Cup qualifiers and the 2010 national champions—should immediately be contenders in their new league, even while placed in a tough Midwest Division. A tantalizing matchup with Vermont, ranked in the top 10 nationally following a quarterfinal NCAA tourney run last year, should be one of the country’s best showdowns of the week.

Hofstra Vs. Providence

The Pride made their second NCAA Tournament in three years a season ago and will remain the favorites in the CAA after being picked first in the preseason poll with its two players (Eliot Goldthorp and Ryan Carmichael) on the Hermann Trophy Watch List. Providence, which made the NCAA tourney Round of 16 two years ago but is trying to bounce back from a 5-5-7 season last year, should give Hofstra a good barometer of where it stands as a squad early on.

Saginaw Valley State Vs. Illinois-Springfield

Like scoring? Then this matchup might be for you. Prior to each team making the D-II NCAA Tournament a season ago, they squared off around this time in 2022 and played an eight-goal thriller that the Cardinals won 5-3. The rematch should remain chaotic as SVSU looks to prep in nonconference play for a repeat run at the GLIAC title.

Anderson Vs. Barry

7:00 p.m.,Thursday ET

Anderson is trying to bounce back from a losing season and gets an opportunity to attach a rocket ship to its momentum when it plays Barry, a defending D-II national semifinalist. Diego Jaramillo, Lucas Goldberg and Mariano Carpena are the returners who snagged preseason All-SAC honors and who should be major pieces for the Trojans.

Catholic Vs. Messiah

1:00 p.m., Saturday ET

Part of the Turk Emekli Classic – named for the American soccer pioneer who was a legendary player-coach at Catholic — the Cardinals will look to further build on a 13-win season that saw them eliminated in the Round of 16 of the D-III NCAA tourney. Junior midfielder Domenico Caltabiano set the program record for single-season assists with 10 in 2022 and should remain a dynamic force in the middle of the pitch for Catholic once again.
