Long Beach State And Hawaii Prevail In MPSF Semifinals
It will be Long Beach State and Hawaii in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation final on Saturday night.

In Thursday’s semifinals, No. 3 seed Hawaii took down No. 2 seed BYU in straight sets 25-22, 25-23, 25-22. Kupono Fey led the Rainbow Warriors with 16 kills and three errors to hit .464, in addition to contributing seven digs and four blocks.

The second semifinal of the night saw Long Beach State defeated UC Irvine for the third time this season (25-19, 25-22, 25-19). Kyle Ensing led the 49ers with 10 kills and only one error to hit .529. As a team, LBSU outhit UCI .284 to .112, and out blocked the Anteaters 10 to three.

Saturday’s final match determines which team will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA championship in Columbus, Ohio, May 4-6. The MPSF conference final on April 22, 2017, will be streamed LIVE on FloVolleyball, starting at 7 PM PT.
