As one might expect, the top teams from Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and other nearby states will be in attendance, but some of the top contenders are making the trip all the way from the West Coast.

Get to know these seven 17s teams that are sure to make some noise in Chi-town this weekend.

1. Tstreet 17 Naseri

Irvine, California

With coaches Naseri Tumunavao and Taylor Rosas at the helm, Tstreet's top 17s team scored an impressive third-place finish at the Triple Crown Sports National National Invitational and ranks eighth in the 18 and Under SCVA standings. Key players include 6-foot-4 Oregon-bound middle Karson Bacon, 6-5 Indiana recruit and setter Courtney Buzzerio, and outside hitters Katie Lukes (6-3, San Diego) and Sienna Secrist (6-0, USC).

2. Legacy 17 Elite

Sterling Heights, Michigan

Michigan recruits Erin O'Leary and Abby Malinowski lead this Legacy squad, which was runner-up at Crossroads and tied for fifth at MEQ. Other impressive results include winning the title at the Central Zone Invitational, coming in second at the Mizuno Sports Performance Presidents Day Challenge, and taking third at the JVA Rock 'N Rumble.

3. Uno Girls 17 Elite

Joliet, Illinois

Uno 17 Elite had left behind a wake of destruction at every tournament so far this year. The team, which features Tennessee recruit Raquel Perinar and Kansas State-bound Holly Bonde as well as Dayton recruit Alli Papesh and future Iowa State Cyclone Taylor Baranski, was runner-up at the Mizuno Sports Performance Presidents' Day Challenge, third at MEQ, and the winner of the Great Lakes Region Bid Qualifier.

4. Sunshine 17-1

Los Angeles, California

A fourth-place finish at Crossroads has been Sunshine 17-1's best showing of the season so far, but even that top five finish wasn't good enough to punch a ticket to nationals, so this LA-based team will be on the hunt for a bid in Chicago. Keep an eye out for San Diego-committed middle Elise Austin.

5. Dynasty 17 Black

Kansas City, Kansas

Top three finishes and a GJNC bid have been just out of reach for this Kansas City team so far this season. Kansas-committed libero Lacey Angello leads the defensive efforts, while Central Oklahoma-bound setter Amanda Desch quarterbacks the offense.

6. MichioChicago 17 National

Evergreen Park, Illinois

MichioChicago tied with Uno Girls 17 Elite for the title at the Great Lakes Region Bid Qualifier in early March, adding another first-place finish to 17 National's championship victory at the Mizuno Sports Performance Presidents Day Challenge. Notre Dame-bound outside Charley Niego will be a player to watch.

7. Athena 17-1 Gold

Portland, Oregon

Athena 17-1 Gold has two top 10 finishes at qualifiers--a 10th at Crossroads and seventh at Pacific Northwest. The Portland-based team will need a big-time showing from 2019 Washington-committed middle/oppo Sophia Dorsch-Summers to compete for a title at Windy City.
