1. TAV 17 Black

Dallas, Texas

TAV's top 17s team started the season ranked third in our Flo50, but very quickly proved themselves and have owned the No. 1 spot for the last two months. This squad, led by Minnesota-bound outside hitter Adanna Rollins and Texas recruit middle Asjia O'Neal finished first in all three Tour of Texas events and then earned the title at the incredibly competitive Triple Crown Sports National Invitational and scored a bid after finishing first at MEQ.

2. Rage 17 Gabe

Ripon, California

17 Gabe won the Colorado Crossroads Qualifier to earn its bid to nationals. Arizona-bound Julia Handy quarterbacks this California-based team, which also includes Pacific recruits Jadyn Tubbs and Riley Patterson, and Ball State-bound libero Cathryn Starck.

3. Skyline 17 Royal

Dallas, Texas

TAV isn't the only powerhouse team in Dallas. John Rye's Skyline squad finished third at the Disney Volleyball Showcase Qualifier last week and fourth at Triple Crown. At Lone Star, the team led by Florida-bound Lauren Dooley and UNC recruit Annabelle Archer, won't be concerned with earning a bid, as it secured a spot in Minneapolis at the Pacific Northwest Qualifier in late March.

4. Madfrog 17 National Black

Plano, Texas

Madfrog scored a spot at nationals thanks to a fourth-place finish (and a trickle down) at the Pacific Northwest Qualifier. The team also made some noise at the three Tour of Texas events, finishing fifth at the Qualifier, fourth at Stop 2, and fourth at the Finals.

5. San Antonio Magic 17 Elite

San Antonio, Texas

A ninth at Triple Crown Sports National Invitational where SA Magic 17 Elite went 7-1, losing only to San Gabriel Elite 17 Roshambo, has been a highlight of the season so far for this team. Setter Emily Dewalt (Texas State), middle/outside Hannah Jacobs (Southern Methodist), and outside/opposite Hannah Lopez (Rice) have led this squad to a fifth-place finishes at MEQ and the Tour of Texas Finals.

6. Austin Juniors 17 Mizuno

Austin, Texas

AJV 17 Mizuno put their skills to the test against some of the best 18s teams in the country at the Lone Star Classic 18s Qualifier in early March. With an 11th-place finish, the team proved it can hang, beating ASICS Louisiana 18s, Houston Stellar 18 Elite, and Club Legacy 18 Mid Cities. Washington commit Dani Cole, TCU commit Elan McCall, outside hitter Madison Baptiste and middle Holly Campbell will be the keys to success for this squad as it seeks a spot at GJNCs.

7. Texas Tornados 17 Mizuno

Houston, Texas

Defense wins championships for Texas Tornados 17 Mizuno, with Oregon-bound libero Georgia Murphy and Baylor recruit Emily Van Slate patrolling the back row and middle/opposites Whitney Forman (LSU), Meredith Phillips (Cal Poly), and AJ Koele (Mississippi State) putting up walls in the front. The Tornados 13th-place finish at MEQ wasn't good enough to secure a bid, so their hopes of going to GJNC are on the line this weekend.
