FIVB Releases Updated 2017 Beach Volleyball Schedule

After releasing its preliminary list of events in late October, the FIVB has unveiled a more concrete beach volleyball schedule for the 2017 season.

FIVB Releases Updated 2017 Beach Volleyball Schedule

Following its release of a preliminary schedule of beach volleyball events in late October, the FIVB has unveiled a more finalized list of dates and events for its 2017 season.

Twenty-five events have been confirmed and included in the second calendar release. An event in Long Beach, California, would make 26 total events, but it is still listed as "to be confirmed."

New events have been added since the preliminary calendar was released, including one-star events in Pacific Harbor, Fiji; Shepparton, Australia; and the Principality of Monaco. Three-star events were added in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Qinzhou, China.

Since the first calendar release more than a month ago, the FIVB decided to remove events in Macieo, Brazil; Fuzhou, China; and Stavanger, Norway, from its 2017 slate.
