Introducing the Flo50 Girls' High School Volleyball Rankings
FloVolleyball is thrilled to announce the first-ever edition of our Flo50 Girls' High School Volleyball Rankings.

It is highly appropriate that these first rankings, which will be updated weekly through the end of the season, come the week after the hugely crucial Durango Fall Classic in Las Vegas, which FloVolleyball live streamed.

Despite entering the season with question marks at a few positions, including setter, perennial national and California powerhouse San Jose Archbishop Mitty went to the Durango Fall Classic and captured the championship with a 25-23, 25-19 win over Xavier Prep of Phoenix, Arizona.

Winning the tournament for the first time in seven years, head coach Bret Almazan-Cezar's team lost just one set during the tournament, and middle blocker Candice Denny was named as the tournament MVP.

Earlier this season, the Monarchs also captured the Spikefest championship and their lone loss this season came in between the two tournaments with a home loss in straight sets to Santa Ana Mater Dei.

During its undefeated start to the season, Mater Dei head coach Dan O'Dell's team has dropped just two sets all season. Utah-bound outside hitter Shannon Scully has led the offense with 147 kills.
