Andie Malloy graduated with a marketing degree from Baylor this month, but she’s not ready to say goodbye to her collegiate volleyball career just yet. The 6-2 outside hitter who played one year at Iowa State before transferring to Baylor will use her final year of eligibility to play for the Nebraska Huskers and pursue a masters degree in applied sciences. She will be eligible to compete for the reigning national champs in the fall.

Malloy—a product of Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas—led Baylor with 308 kills during the 2015 season and contributed 292 digs and a team-high 33 aces. She’ll be competing with redshirt sophomore Olivia Boender and junior Annika Albrecht for the second outside hitter spot vacated by Kelsey Fien. Reigning Freshman of the Year Mikaela Foecke has a firm hold on the other outside hitter position.
