Two weeks after finishing second at the 2017 AVP New York City Open, the teams of Stafford Slick and Billy Allen and Summer Ross and Brooke Sweat redeemed themselves by winning titles at the AVP Seattle Open on Sunday.

The victory marked Slick's first title on the AVP tour. It was Allen's second and the second consecutive season he's earned the AVP Seattle Open crown.

After losing to Ryan Doherty and John Hyden in the second round of the tournament, the fifth-seeded Slick and Allen steamrolled through the contenders' bracket to make it to the semifinals, where they got redemption for their NYC finals loss with a victory over Jake Gibb and Taylor Crabb before meeting Sean Rosenthal and Trevor Crabb in the title bout.

Sweat and Ross' victory was the third AVP title for both women. The duo didn't lose a set the entire tournament, defeating Betsi Flint and Kelley Larsen in the final 21-17, 24-22.
