Ohio State men's volleyball will not set a new NCAA men's volleyball win streak record.

After winning 42 matches in a row (third-best in NCAA history), UC Irvine traveled to Columbus and handed the Buckeyes their first loss in almost 400 days. The straight-set victory (28-26, 25-19, 25-20) featured a match-high 13 kills from Aaron Koubi of UCI and 11 each from Tamir Hershko and Thomas Hodges.

The Anteaters hit .361 as a team and held Ohio State to a .222 hitting percentage.
