Junior setter Bailey Tanner led her Washington squad to two Pac-12 sweeps over the weekend, earning the FloVolleyball Player of the Week honor.

Junior setter Bailey Tanner led her Washington squad to a pair of conference sweeps over the weekend. 

Bailey Tanner Washington VolleyballIn the defeat of Utah on Friday, October 14, Tanner fed the hot hands of Courtney Schwan and Tia Scambray to the tune of nine and 12 kills, respectively, along the way collecting four kills of her own. 

Against Colorado two nights later, Tanner quarterbacked her team to a .365 hitting percentage. The hot hand on Sunday was middle Crissy Jones, who collected 11 kills with no errors out of the 21 sets Tanner sent her way.

Tanner totaled 37 assists in the Colorado match and led the team with 11 digs in addition to contributing six blocks and two kills.

Washington currently holds the top spot in the Pac-12 with a 6-2 conference record. The team's .274 hitting percentage ranks it 18th nationally and second in the Pac-12.
