The Internet is full of useful, brilliant and unexpected life hacks (as well as strange, silly and pointless ones) that aim to make our lives easier. But until now, no one has bothered to share tips solely for the volleyball world.
Have no fear—FloVolleyball is here with this list of life hacks for volleyball players.
1. Change the way you lace your volleyball shoes to provide support or pain relief.
2. Combine one part rubbing alcohol and two parts water in a plastic bag and freeze it to make a flexible, moldable ice pack.

3. Turn your halter bikini into a t-back to banish neck pain.
4. Make hardboiled eggs in hotel coffee pot.
Sounds gross, but healthy sources of protein are often tough to find when you’re on the road. Simply put a few eggs in the carafe of your hotel room’s coffee pot, add water to the machine and turn it on. Allow the eggs to sit in the water 15 minutes for soft boiled and 30 for hard boiled.
5. Use hairspary and bobby pins to keep your headband from sliding off mid-match.
6. Bring baby powder to the beach to remove sand.
After a beach tournament, dust baby powder on your arms and legs (or wherever else you’ve managed to get sand). The powder absorbs the moisture on your skin and the sand will fall right off.
